What is simon?

simon is an open-source speech recognition program and replaces the mouse and keyboard.

What is simon not?

simon is not (yet) a dictation program!

What languages does simon support?

The User Interface (GUI) of simon is currently (0.2) available in english and German. Voicerecognition can be trained for any language.

How can I contribute a translation for the simon GUI?

For a complete translation one needs the current sourcecode from SVN and start to translate the *.PO-files. More Informations can be found at English:_Setting_up_A_Development_Environment and http://techbase.kde.org/Localization

The "Add" button in ksimonds configuration is greyed out and can't be selected.

Please check whether libqt4-sql-sqlite is installed.
